Cost: $75 registration fee + two nights with food. Deadline August 1.
Standard rooms include private bath with shower or tub and one double bed or two twin beds.
- Single room/day with 6 meals: $135/night (total $345)
- Double room/day with 6 meals each – twin beds, one chair: $235/night or $118 each roommate ($311 each person)
- Commuter fees range from $15-$63/day, depending on the number of meals. Prices may go up after June 30, though registration is available up until October 15.
Early bird discount: Registration fee is reduced to $30 if paid by June 30.
- Single room 2 nights and meals and registration fee, paid by 6/30/23 = $300
- Double (shared room) 2 nights & meals and registration fee, paid by 6/30/23 = $266
- Commuter (2 days plus lunch each day) and registration fee, paid by 6/30/23 = $100
Activities: Fun activities are planned! You can work on your own project the entire time – or not. We are planning optional activities to spark your motivation and creativity like writing exercises, getting started writing your memoir plus opportunities to share. We’ll have set meal times in the dining room and a meeting room and many areas on the grounds to sit and explore. The facility has a pool, a labyrinth, and rock art. See DesertRenewal.org for photos.
A schedule will be sent to registrants ahead of time. All activities are optional!
We have reserved 8 double occupancy rooms and 4 single rooms. Arrive between 3 and 5 on
Friday, leave after 1 pm on Sunday. Rooms are on a first-come, first-served basis. You can invite a spouse, friend or non-APW guest. Each needs to complete & return a form.
If you choose a double let us know if you have a person you want to share a room with or if you are willing to room with anyone who is seeking a roommate.

Cancellation policy:
If APW cancels the event due to lack of interest or other circumstances, all fees paid will be returned. Any personal cancellations will only be refunded if a replacement attendee can be found.
