Brad Graber – NFPW Award winner!

Brad Graber is our third APW member who won an award at the National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest. After winning first place in the At-large contest, Brad’s entry, Boca by Moonlight won honorable mention at the national level in the category “Fiction for adult readers.”

Congratulations, Brad, for your work being recognized at the national level! We are proud of you!

Brad Graber – another 1st place winner!

Brad Graber was the second of three First Place winners from APW in the At-large division of the NFPW 2021 Communications Contest!’

Boca by Moonlight won first place in the category “Fiction for adult readers.”

Brad’s book will go on to the national level of judging. National award winners will receive a Certificate of Achievement at the NFPW National Communications Conference Awards banquet to be held in Fargo, ND June 23-25 plus be recognized at our state conference on May 14. Entries from 18 states, the District of Columbia and Spain competed in the At-large division.

Brad is the afternoon speaker at our State Conference. His talk is ” THE STORIES WE TELL OURSELVES: THE IMPORTANCE OF SHIFTING OUR MINDSET.” Find out how his tips could help you create an award-winning book too! APW Book Club 1/22/22 with Brad Graber

Our next book group meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 10 am via Zoom (link will be sent at a later date)
We’ll be discussing Brad Graber’s new novel Boca by Moonlight. Set in Boca Raton, Florida, the novel follows the story of George as he struggles to come to terms with life as a widower. Brad Graber writes novels because he grew up in a family where no one listened to him – so he made up stories about them. He is the award-winning author of The Intersect, After the Fall, and a collection of essays, What’s That Growing in My Sour Cream? Boca by Moonlight is Brad’s latest novel.
