APW Fall 2015 Events in Phoenix Metro Area

PLEASE JOIN US for the following 2015 APW Central District meetings (third Thursday of the month except December):

Sept. 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m. APW Central District Happy Hour Su Vino, Scottsdale.

Oct. 15, 6 p.m. social time, 6:30 p.m. potluck dinner. APW Central District Program “The Wild West and More,” Guidon Books, Scottsdale.

Nov. 19, 10 a.m. Tour of the Arizona State Archives, Phoenix, followed by lunch at Phoenix Market.

Dec. 13, 2-6 p.m. APW Central District Holiday Potluck Buffet at Scottsdale Waterfront Condominiums, Scottsdale.

 Here are the details on each of the above events. No fee to attend any of these programs.

Sept. 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m. APW Central District Happy Hour, Su Vino. Join us for this annual get together to start the fall season and get caught up with friends. Su Vino Winery, 7035 E. Main St., #110, Scottsdale, 480-994-8466 (behind the Western Spirit museum). Menu of appetizers, desserts and Su Vino’s award-winning wines. Order from menu with separate checks. Oct. 15, 6 p.m. social time, 6:30 p.m. potluck dinner. APW Central District Program “The Wild West and More.” Guidon Books, 7109 E. Second St., Scottsdale, 480-945-8811. Proprietor Shelly Dudley presents on the history of the bookstore, its extensive collection of Western and Civil War books, the changing interests of readers and writers plus her own research and writing. Dec. 13, 2-6 p.m. APW Central District Holiday Potluck Buffet at the home of Dick and Brenda Warneka, Scottsdale Waterfront Condominiums, 7181 E. Camelback Rd., Scottsdale. Bring potluck dish to share and gently used books for “bring one, take one” book exchange table.
