November 2013 APW Typerider

Another information packed issue for your reading pleasure from APW and edited by Lynda Exley. She has done another outstanding job.

In this issue we meet new member Linda Pressman, who memoir, Looking Up: A Memoir of Sisters, Survivors and Skokie, was the grand-prize winner in the Writer’s Digest annual self-publishing contest.  We also find out how to get your children’s story “Story Monster Approved.” According to, “approval favors stories that inspire, inform, teach or entertain.” The publication date is open to any year as long as the book is still in print. Worth checking out if you write children’s books.  There’s more about NPFWs liability insurance that is available to members and a tribute to longtime APW member and
former APW Central District Director Ann Marchiony who passed away in September. Read more about these stories and others in the November 2013 Typerider.
